“The two tracks on the release draw on disparate sources for their inspiration, though both are concerned with voyaging beyond the physical realm. “Silent Hospital” is a disquieting descent into the experience of intraoperative awareness. A surgical state of partial lucidity while anesthetized where sounds and events (both real and hallucinatory) meld into an unnerving trip. “Carousel” draws it’s inspiration from the ritual of the same name from the film Logan’s Run. A vertiginous circular ascent on Lastday toward the promise of Renewal (rebirth).” – M.C.
