About the album:
“The Aokigahara forest, also known as Sea of Trees, lies to the northwest of Mount Fuji in Japan. Internationally, this quiet place is known as one of the most popular suicide spots in Japan – supposedly popularized by a novel called Tower of Waves. Signs urging suicidal people to change their mind are located in various locations, written in both English and Japanese, and volunteers take walks around the forest every year to recover bodies of those who didn’t turn back. After watching a documentary about Aokigahara, the contrast between the natural serenity of the place and the purpose it serves was the main inspiration for the album. The tracks attempt to combine the eeriness of the atmosphere with the calmness of the setting and the sadness of the decisions taken.

Those who can still hear music can be reminded of the value of life by those who left. The album is meant to help in reflection, if only a little.” – the artist
