Mystified continues his collection of drone-ambient works derived entirely from trombone sounds, this time with a prehistoric theme.
“Bone Drones 2: Prehistory” is an essay in brass on the times when giants walked the earth. The main source for this release was a single, very high-pitched tone played on Mystified’s trombone. This sound was recorded and processed into different sounds, with varying qualities. The resulting sounds were layered and mastered. Mystified dedicates these drones to the ancient reptiles that fed on plants and one another during the many eras before man or even mammals. Take a trip back to prehistory! — Thomas Park
