Yellowstone is the third Exoxen release on Webbed Hand, and represents a further evolution of the sound of this enigmatic group. Mingling high production standards with gritty lo-fi recording techniques, the result is a body of work that defies easy categorization. It cuts across many genres, containing elements of 60s/70s psychedelic, garage rock, Beefheart, metal, industrial, electronica, all in a mind-bending stew.

After an absence of several years, Tree Helicopter returns to Webbed Hand, now venturing deeper into a musique concrete/noise style. This work is more abstract than that found on “Moon Calf” (wh014), but at the same time more unified and perhaps more accessible.

“Water Wind” is a long-form expedition in abstract beats and textures, cutting across several subgenres of experimental electronica, including IDM, electroacoustic, d-n-b, glitch and ambient. Ever shifting and mutating, this composition keeps the attention riveted from beginning to end.

Webbed Hand welcomes the work of Marco Lucchi, a noted and very skilled musician who has distinguished himself in Europe for his work in the experimental, new age, and electronica genres.

Vincent Bergeron comes to Webbed Hand Records with a very unusual album. A work of surreal pop/cabaret/experimental music with lyrics in French. Compelling and very listenable.

The only surviving tape of sound experiments made by C.P. McDill from a period of creative work spanning 1988-93, finally recovered, remixed, and mastered for Webbed Hand release. Exposes the roots of McDill’s audio aesthetics.
